I'm finally making time for more Project Life. I would love to be one of those people that have a regular PL schedule, and come prepared to share my layout every week. So far, that's not happening. But I do still LOVE doing it. I got a little behind and decided to start fresh with the New Year.
The New Year started my love with painting! I got some paint supplies for Christmas with the intention of learning how to paint roses, and it is proving to be a great decision. Not because of my ability to paint flowers, but because of how much joy it is bringing me and how it fuels me to keep painting and painting and painting. I love it.
I decided to try something new by taking two things I love - painting and Project Life - and meshing them together. I took snippets of my paintings and put them in the shape of butterflies, so I could use them in my Project Life spreads.
I really love how they fit into the pages and tied everything together. These butterflies would also be great for collage art, art journaling, card making, digital scrapbooking... you name it. In case you could find a use for them too, I'm offering 12 painted butterflies as a digital download in my Etsy shop.
They come in different shapes and sizes, and a download link is delivered directly to your email. The files come as 12 individual .png files with transparent backgrounds, and also 1 .jpg file for printing all the butterflies on one sheet.
What do you think? Are downloadable embellishments something you would use in your craft projects?
