Bella Sposa happened Sunday, and it was quite the event! I've spent months planning my booth out for this vintage-inspired bridal show. Here's a few photos to recap the day. Here's me in my booth before the event! This was my first show I've ever done and didn't know what to expect. Unlike a craft show where you sell your goods on-the-spot, a bridal show is geared towards showing the brides what service you're capable of providing for their wedding (so I learned). I had items for sale but mostly showed examples of custom wedding signs that I can make for their big day!
This table featured my cards and prints. The candy was a big hit!
I made this folding display out of a fireplace cover. It was originally painted red with Japanese accents but I chose to paint it white to contrast the black chalkboards. The center board rotates and I painted each side to be a chalkboard. I hung each board by a clipboard and the whole set-up worked GREAT.
Here you can see my new posters that I've been scheming up! I have yet to list them for sale in my Etsy shop, but when I do, I will sell the digital file and you can print out the poster at an office supply store for under $10. It ends up being such a great value for a 3'x4' poster that makes quite a statement.
I was commissioned by Bella Patina to create this giant chalkboard wall for the event. It really was a nice opportunity to have my booth right next to this, so people could see more of my work. I loved watching people pose in front of the photo booth to get their picture taken. Perfect idea for a wedding backdrop, eh?
These guys from the Tiger Style Crew were awesome to watch as they showed off their dance moves.
At 1:00pm, beautiful models walked down the runway in gorgeous wedding dresses. Everyone was stunned by the elegance of each dress and each woman wearing them. Overall, the event was a huge success with a great turn out. I really enjoyed meeting all the brides and vendors and I loved the experience of having a show. I hope this is the start of many more in the future!
All photos were taken by my wonderful boyfriend and biggest supporter. Thank you Russ!
