Isn't there something refreshing about a pretty, new notebook? Especially one that has a purpose just waiting to fill the pages? Every major project needs blank surfaces for ideas and goals and doodles, in my opinion. Once ideas started piling up in my mind regarding this blog, I headed straight to Barnes and Noble to scan their shelves filled with empty journals. I'm picky when it comes to journals and paper, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this beautiful notebook created by Studio Oh!. The inside is so pretty, too!
Oh, and tape! Let's talk about the tape. I'm sure most people are aware of washi tape by now. It's from Japan and similar to masking tape, but comes in hundreds (thousands?) of different colors and patterns. It's used a lot in paper crafts and scrapbooking but the possibilities are endless. I've been oooogling over washi tape for months and finally decided to buy some. I got a little carried away, searching online for hours trying to pick the perfect color combinations. I finally decided on these and had to talk myself out of buying a lot more (although 2 more colors are on the way). And I didn't even plan this, but the colors go quite nicely with my new journal.
Now I'm ready to jot down all my ideas and plans and have a pretty time doing so! That makes me happy.
